This is why 17+ should be enforced.
Children shouldn't be online anyway.

Edited by Death_eater_81: 6/19/2015 3:31:14 PMHahaha....before they started rating the games, "children" were playing games like Mortal Combat. No age rating gives people the right to treat anyone with disrespect. They wouldn't have finished it without him!!! It's people like this guy that kicked him out that shouldn't be online.
-
Mk was before online. The games aren't the problem anyway. It's online. There is a age requirement. It's false documentation to agree and sign when not of age. Sony and Microsoft overlook it because they assume if you get online anyway then you know what you're getting into. Which is how I feel about it. Don't be online if you can't deal

Edited by Death_eater_81: 6/19/2015 4:17:15 PMOk dude. So when it happens to you, just deal with it man. Have you ever set up a sub account for a child? I set up sub accounts for both of my kids, didn't lie about their age at all, and they have online access. It's something called "parental consent". The game has a ESRB rating of Teen, not mature. The age rating is based on the content of the game. For instance, Destiny has it's rating because of Animated Blood and Violence, doesn't say anything about online...... Edit..funny how people complain about immaturity of children when it's the adults that we really have a problem with. The children learn from them and adopt their behaviors.

My girlfriend's younger brother plays on ps3. I'd take up for him to of it went down that way. I've told him as well. If you can't accept b.s. happens with people like that. Stay offline. I do understand what you're saying. I am in no way defending the other person.
-
But you are defending people and behaviors like that by just standing by and doing nothing. I'm not saying you have to do or say anything, but almost everyone has the same attitude of "It happens, get over it". It just blows my mind how we treat each other and that nothing will happen to this guy.

It's the same outside the cyber world
-
I know....I'm a Marine
-
Then you're very knowledgeable with this stuff.
-
So you're saying that even though I'm mature (I wouldn't dream of doing shit like this) I get screwed? While I will agree the majority of teenagers are immature, some are not. It is not right to punish those who did nothing wrong.
-
That is true. But 17+ is there for a reason. And that's why you consent when you sign the agreement to play online. I know there are assholes out there. But it really is necessary to be of age.
-
I see your point of view, and I agree with it to a point. Like I said, there are a lot of mature teenagers. The only problem is there are so many more immature ones causing all these problems. It sucks. There needs to be a way for people to prove that they are mature players and can be trusted. Sadly that's never going to happen.

Yeah like a rating system from eBay. You know? 1-5 stars
-
Its rated T for teen
-
-
Destiny is rated 13+
-
And what's the licensed agreement for online with PSN say?
-
No idea I play on Xbox
-
It's the same as xbl. I played halo competitively for years before 343 came in. It's the same.
-
I had no idea that's very interesting
