Here's what I think bungie has in mind for the Collector's Edition.
You buy the CE then give the extra codes to a friend. Your friend will most likely buy the TTK expansion pack therefore more money for Bungie.

Youre what's wrong with the gaming community. That is Exactly the attutude that let's devs cut content and sell it later, after advertising it as part of the vanilla game in the preorder.
