I personally don't think it's a "I'm running out of ideas kind of deal" if something, it is very clever. You gotta remember the name of the class, Hunter. If you look well it actually lives up to the Class that is part of. Bow, arrows, and knifes are the main definition of a Hunter. So I think that the fact that Nightstalker, a name which also fits the class, it's actually well thought out. At least that's my thought behind it...

I just think of like this. Hunters already have a gun, while switch it to a bow, it's not like the bow is a permanent weapon it's a super, and it's not like using it adds a stealth effect to it(it would make sense if you can use it whenever or shooting it at mobs won't make them aggro to you because they don't know where the shot came from type of deal)

I get what you're saying. It's a solid point. Why go old school weapons we are living on a advance technology society? Why the drastic change on weaponry? Solid points! But do remember that everyone don't have the same playing style. Personally I'm the type of player that supports it's team of I'm playing with one so perk wise Gunslinger don't give any kind of support, just power. Nightstalker however, will help the team. It may not be as powerful as Gunslinger but it's still useful. Yes the choice of weapon is weird awkward, and (personal note) badass but I think the outcome of it will overlook that fact.
