Not sure where they admitted to any mistake. I heard them say they had all these cool things they wanted to give people and that they intended it to be a cool extra and they seem somewhat surprised by the hate and, sadly, somewhat resigned to it. Personally I think this whole non issue is a bunch of entitled cry babies that never got told no enough in their life. My great grandmother had a colorful phrase for me when I got a bad case of the I wants. Allow me to share it with you. "Want in one hand and shit in the other and see which one fills up fastest." To be fair I was like five when I pitched hissy fits like this.

It's not about being entitled though. It is about not having to purchase a second copy of Destiny. In any type of business you will have loyal customers. Screw over those customers and see how well off your business will be. Those that have stuck around since beta deserve some type of reward. I mean the actual game was split up into 1 game and two DLC's and sold. That already is complete crap. But besides that it is really dumb they are not offering some cheaper version of the collectors edition. I am buying just the DLC so I don't have a horse in this race but I don't like seeing people get screwed over. Especially since those that have been around since launch and before know how much we have already been screwed over.

I don't see how offering incentives to get new players screws anyone. Unless the extras give you an unfair advantage in the game. I keep hearing about, the original game. Do you work at Activision? Do you have intimate knowledge of the publishing process? If not then you're speculating based on pre alpha info. Software undergoes massive changes all the time for all kinds of reasons.

I do not work at Activision but to not say they blantanly lied about certain things is false. Have you seen the pre-release trailers? Almost everything advertised did not make it into the game. Also, the fact these DLC's were stripped from the game is texting fact that people could glitch into them. How could HoW areas already be in the game at launch? They were already 2 DLC's ahead yet they didn't finish the game. The fact that almost every "new" DLC area is just old areas backwards. I have never seen that in any other game. There is no creativity in this game yet they keep asking us to spend more and more money funding a damn beta. The frustration is justified because of what Bungie has shown us so far, not because everyone feels entitled to everything.

Not so much admitting to anything. They have acknowledge they see the problem and he said he didn't want to comment further on changes basically.
