As a British gaming site, it is just a shame that they didn't ask why a digital copy in America is $40, but a digital copy in England is £40. I used to get that shipping and all other things could add to the price, but what shipping is involved here? (And this doesn't just apply to games, pretty much all products sold in Dollars just have their price set in the UK by replacing the symbols, not by currency exchange).

  • Exactly what I was thinking and I would have asked if it was me.

  • Which is bullshit. I'm an American gamer and I can't believe they charge like that. It's like they've never heard of currency conversions. I'm sure there's more to it that we don't see.

  • Like I said, it's probably because of different taxes and laws on the companies in different regions.

  • That is stupid. It probably has something to do with taxes and laws on their products. But still very dumb.

  • A reasonable translation from us $ to £ would lead to a price of slightly over £30 - you have to remember that US prices don't include sales tax (VAT in the UK). This still doesn't translate to £40, of course.... But, to be fair, the UK median wage equates to a higher level than us median wage... At the end of the day, you have to decide - is ttk worth what you are getting charged, regardless of what other people are being charged? We'd always like to pay less, but it comes down to what you are willing to pay. You can always wait, and then it will get cheaper.
