Hello I am a 13 year old gamer and I play Destiny. When I join someone or go on raids I am Called "Squeaker". I am apparently someone to laugh at and abuse for being 2 years younger then another person. About 1 in 15 people are nice and don't care. When I need help with a Raid I invite people and ask people for help, then I am abused because I am 13 and have a voice that is kind of high. I play with 6-9 year old's if they need help... most other people just bully them and ruin the experience of Communication on this awesome MMO. I love Destiny it is fascinating and enjoyable... but about 70% of the community are bullies towards "Little Kids". If you don't want to play with someone because they have a voice that you absolutely can't stand, don't be a Bully just say "Sorry I really don't want to do this... I want to do other things" as appose to hurting feelings and being a dick. You were a kid once whats wrong with it? If they are screaming in the microphone and being really Annoying then give them a chance tell them your gonna kick them if they keep going, then if they keep going don't retaliate just be chill and say "Hey you had your warning... sorry your being kicked". The thread is about people being bullies after they say a few words in a high voice. Also if they try to be funny don't laugh and say that wasn't really that funny try something else. About 4 years ago I got Xbox with COD and I did these things to so I can understand why people gave them this reputation. I feel it should be changed a little bit. Fighting fire with fire never works out it's just a waste of time. If this is changed I would think Destiny would be more inviting and people under 14 would enjoy it a lot more! Also shut up about ratings. Look at the movies people sneak in all the time your not gonna stop anything. In Australia you are allowed to play it so you can't say crap about kids from Aussie. Think of something without involving ratings or do you need to rely on them?
Australia has different spelling and grammar and I am 13 get off my case.
• I find it strange when adults play this game. Like there have been times where I join a party of people thinking they are about my age and then all of them are like 30+. It's sickening! To think that some guy that has a job and a family is wasting their time on a game meant for teens and some kids (depends on parents). Like shouldn't you adults be buying this for your kids and not your selves? Sure you want to have the feeling of being a kid again but really I find it extremely sad that full grow adults make up the majority of this community. This unbalances the community of teens to adults giving adults more power which they have always had. Adults have their power in real life and shouldn't have the power here. Yes I know that bungie is made by adults but targeted for teens. I remember watching my uncle play halo when he was 16. Everyone i watched him play with were all about his age 13-19. I never saw or heard one adult on there. Even on other games like cod and battle field not one adult. Teens had the power! Now on destiny all these adults popping up. When I went to go get destiny opening night, there were more adults than teens there. I understand that there are 20 year olds out there that are here from the halo community. I think that this is some what better than 30+ year olds because the majority of people in their twenties have not gotten married yet. This is fine to me. But when you are a person that is married and has a kid or multiple kids, it is your responsibly to take care of your family. Not spending countless hours on a video game to where you are not focused on your family. Now some of you adults may say, "we are not obsessed with destiny and spend a healthy time on it and with our families." Ok well how much time do you spend with your kids after work? Or do you go right on to destiny? Are you dads of destiny actually being dads? Are you helping your son with that chemistry home work or helping your teammates with Crota hard mode? Every day when my dad comes home from work he gives everybody a huge hug and asks us how are days went. Then he makes us dinner and some times we will go and do something as a family. He will always help me when I need it or be there for me at all my sports events. If he can't do any of these things it's usually from a logical reason like he is still at work or he is helping some one else. The point is that he is spending time with the family and not on a gaming console alone. I have seen though some adults here that play destiny and their son or daughter plays it too. These people though I have noticed are not as obsessed as adults that don't have kids that play destiny. So sure leave your hate you stuck up adults say im immature. Correct my spelling and grammar, say im just a teen that is trying to make a point. But think about this. Are you spending memory making times with your children? Have a happy Father's Day *drops mic*
