I think as of currently Exotics are not worthy of there "exotic title" when they can simply every week from Friday-Sunday be purchased for an amount of strange coins that is literally nothing. 3 character completions of level 32 weekly heroic Strikes = 27 Strange coins per week (This is not even taking into account the rare Engrams sometimes earned throughout the strikes and the end activity rewards that result in bring strange coins). An exotic piece of armour from Xur costs only 13 strange coins so in other words you can buy 2 exotic armour pieces a week and still have 1 coin remaining. Primary weapons cost 23, while special cost 17 to purchase, and heavy weapons cost 17 as well. I think this needs to change, and the prices need to be increased for the reason of this gear being just too easy to obtain as the costs are too low and in my opinion not fully worthy of being called 'Exotic' for both weapons and armour. So what I suggest is for Exotic armour that as of currently , costs 13 strange coins, make an exotic piece of armour at least cost 23 strange coins.Keep in mind you can earn up to 29 from weekly heroic strikes. Furthermore this should be done because with matchmaking for Weekly Heroic Strikes, most if not all players find it even easier/faster to go about completing these activities for the strange coins.So I think it is not right for someone to be able to go and do 3 Weekly Heroic Strikes which have matchmaking of course now and these strikes could take maybe 50-60 minutes maybe to earn enough strange coins to buy poor e ample a weapon like The Last Word or possibly even Hawkmoon (If it is decided Xur will ever sell it once September 15 arrives ) for Xbox users and have access to it as well for 23 strange coins which all it took was a short period of time to go and buy an exotic handcannon. (EDIT) I lowered the suggested idea prices as it's quite obvious there are more opposed to an increase.. Weapons that cost 23 Strange coins should cost 29 coins as some of these guns available for 23 strange coins are among some of the best weapons for pvp in my opinion.Special and heavy weapons that currently cost 17 coins from Xur should be changed to 23 strange coins. Now I know there's going to be players that disagree with my idea but please consider how cheap it is to buy exotics as of currently, and also how not even everyone spends coins every week and begins to have a large supply of them possibly in the hundred's or some even thousands perhaps and weapons can buy exotics like its nothing to them.Thiis is coming from a player who currently has at least one of nearly exotic if not doubles or triples of some (Excluding The Ram,Celestial Nighthawk,Eternal Warrior, Bones of Eao and Peregrine Greaves, which I have had no luck with from PoE,raids,night falls). (EDIT) Strange coins could possibly be included in the loot chests such as the spirit bloom chest by the Templar, the first and second gorgon chest, and the Crota's end chest before the Deathsinger's to make up for exotics costing more too.I'm not sure if they already have a chance from ether chests, but I think they should be added as a possible drop there as well if they aren't already. (EDIT) Players who have less than 3 characters to do weekly heroic strikes would likely oppose this, so what could be done for players that have less then 3, or 2 characters, could be that they specifically earn more strange coins from doing other strikes (Vanguard Dragon etc), crucible and other activities if Bungie could find a way to do this I'm sure it would make it more fair for them if my idea was considered. Or if you agree with my idea and just perhaps not my price suggestions, then please do comment on what you think they should be instead.
