Someone needs their Dad to give them a hug.
My son is 11. We both play Destiny. He's learned A LOT about being a team player, effective communication and how to play as a more mature player.
But we also have times where we just play for fun. Run around Crota just the two of us. In today's age talking with your kids and having something on common comes in many many forms.
He takes Karate after school, we work on homework together and we try to eat at the dinner table together as much as possible. Playing Destiny has given us time to connect away from all the other distractions in our lives.
I play a lot by myself as well. Why? Because I enjoy the game. I grew up playing Nintendo. I'm grown up and play Destiny. When you become an adult you'll understand that your outlook on life right now is still in its infancy.
