Jet fuel in a uncontrolled explosion/fire, does not burn hot enough to melt through steel I beams. Whereas in a controlled burn where it's mixed properly with O2( like in jet engines ) it can reach temperatures well beyond what's needed to melt them. But those steel beams aren't inside of a jet engine are they?
A jet fuel fire could weaken a buildings integrity but thermite brings down big tall identical buildings in a way any demolition expert would be proud.
