He is saying that it is directed to teens not adults, so he wasn't being hypocritical. Also, every parent I know spends all of their time at work, with family, or with friends.

  • Then you must not play with adults then. Why would he direct this at teenagers, when most of the time they aren't parents?

  • That makes no sense. What are you trying to say?

  • You said he is directing that to teenagers. You also stated that the adults you know are ether work, with friends or family. I replied saying you must have not played with adults then, as you previous comment supports that claim.

  • I said the parents that I know. I don't know anyone I play with.

  • Well then meet the Dads of Destiny clan. Honestly, I've met plenty of parents (single adult here), and I think they just have spare time, away from all that the 13 year old mentioned. The fact of the matter is that he is ignorant. He doesn't understand that different people prioritize different items. Some parents are "helicopter parents", meaning they watch and control their actions. Some parents are "free roam parents" and let their children do as they please. Other parents, hover in the in between zone, where their children learn how to fend for themselves and also how to deal with closely guarding parents. I'm presuming OP is a child subjected to "free roam parenting" with he/she is able to make his/her own decisions without the input of the parents, but maybe requesting items at irregular intervals. Make sense?
