They're one of the few Middle Eastern nations that aren't oppressive to Orthodox Christians as Shias are on average more progressive than their Sunni brethren. And the Zionists in Israel, well, once you get past the postcard Evangelical image of the place, it's a pretty nasty theocratic nation that only favors Zionist Orthodox Jews.
