The Special items that they get grants bonus xp so they can level up from 1 to 30 no point in us getting it unless you wanna fork up the cash to get from 20 to 30 faster as if it's hard or something keep in mind that they'll have to go through 90 lvls of base lvls while people who have been playing since last year only need 30 we get VIP rewards for that they something new for picking up Destiny and starting in general you can get it if you want but it would not be nearly as useful to you than it would or brand new players
