You got a minute?" Crimson's voice came in through the comm system of my helmet. "Go ahead, Crimson." "Listen, I know it's none of your concern, but you remember remember that broad I was getting sweet with at the tower?" Crimson was one of my best friends, and a great Titan. One of the best soldiers I ever knew. He talked like an old fart all the time, but he says he doesn't try to talk like that. Says it's how he actually talks. I don't question it. "Yeah. What was her name, ugh... Veronica? Wasn't it Veronica?" I asked. "Yeah, that's the one. Well a few weeks ago, her fire team was sent out to that old space station around circling Saturn to investigate reports from other Guardians of increased Hive activity. We haven't heard from her since. I was wondering if, maybe we could go look for her? Y'know, to make sure she's okay. Since it's nearly impossible to reach the station at Saturn from here, or even Mars with the comms. Plus, the Bounty Officer is offering some Vanguard standing to anybody who kills that rouge Guardian out in that area." "Well do you know where Harrison is? We can go look her team and that rogue, but I definitely don't want to go underpowered," I said while walking back to my Ghost who was working on my ships cannons. "Yeah, I think he's actually down at the tower talking to Banshee about his rifle." "Well go give him a ring. See if he can join us. I gotta go readjust the laser targeting system of my cannons. They were knocked out of alignment during that last run we had on Venus." "Gotcha, Boss. I'll only be a minute." Crimson went to go ask Harrison if he will go search for Veronica's fire team and the rogue with us while I fixed my ships cannons with my Ghost, Vlad. "Vlad, how are we looking on those adjustments?" "Give me just one... short... second... and... we're clear! Go ahead and check," said Vlad. I activated the cannons and spun them up, readying to fire. "Okay! Just keep the cannons active. I can see how far out of alignment they are from here. Just one more short second," said Vlad again. "Go ahead and fire the cannons now." I fired the cannons three times before Vlad shouted for me to stop. "Okay, so that didn't fire in the direction I wanted... I mean, it [i]really[/i] didn't," he said nervously. "Are you sure there is sensor fluid in the heat tank? There is probably not enough in there, which is causing the heat to escape through the containment valves and interfere with the lasers' detection system," I said, about to go check on the sensor fluid levels. "I can check, but I'm pretty sure we put a gallon in there a few months back. It couldn't possibly be out by now." "We could have a leak. We did just get into a dogfight on Venus with the—" I was cut off by Harrison coming in through the comms. "Hey, Big Man. So are we going to look for Crimson's Girl Scout now, or can this cat wait? My rifle is f*cked up from that Goblin on Venus, and me and Banshee are trying to figure out what happened with it," said Harrison. "I don't know, H. Crimson sounded pretty desperate, and if something did actually happen to Veronica's team, we have a chance to find out what it is and maybe stop it. And that rogue Guardian sounds like he could be a problem to other Guardians who go venturing in that area." "Ahhhh, shit. Okay, I'll finish up here and meet you guys at the station. H, out." "Vlad, keep working on those cannons. I'm going to put us in autopilot," I said to Vlad, walking to the front of my ship. "Oh sure, I'll just stay here and do all the work. No, it's totally fine with me. No worries." "Oh quit your whining, I'll just be a minute," I responded. I headed up to the cockpit to put the ship in autopilot and set a course for the old station. Then I went back to help fix the cannons while we wait. Once the ship exited hyper space a few minutes later, I felt a sudden jerk and tug on it, like we were being pulled in by something. "What in the hell was that?!" I asked while running to the cockpit. "Readings show a large vessel using an Anchor to pull us in. Oh my... what kind of ship is that... It's not in my database," spoke Vlad with a modicum of fear. I reached the cockpit, only to look out to deep space and see the largest ship ever pulling us in to it using a Gravity Anchor. I jumped into my seat, and took control of the ship, turning autopilot off. "Vlad, put full power into the thrusters! We need to get out of the gravity well," I shouted, getting ready to activate the thrusters. "Okay, you're clear! Let'er rip!" I punched it, hoping it was enough power to get us clear of the well, but it wasn't enough. We kept on getting lured in, closer and closer to the ship that loomed over us like dark clouds. "It's not working! The well is too strong," I screamed, pushing many button combinations hoping one will give the thrusters the extra boost it needs. Suddenly, a voice came over my comms. "This is Tenerris Ochman of the Royal Fleet, Comet. You are trespassin' on territory belongin' to our King, and you are not welcome here. But... you are welcome [i]inside[/i] of my beautiful ship. I hope you like games, Guardian, because I'm goin' make you the main event here," spoke the strange man. He sounded human, but I couldn't be completely sure. He could be Awoken, who knows. Before I even had time to think of my fate, I light shined down to my ship. It was blinding, and I had to look away. "Welcome to the Ochman Hunt," spoke the man again. The blinding light soon turned into a painful sting all over my body until it slowly began knocking me unconscious. What will happen next, I know not. What ever it is, it probably isn't good by the sound of that man, Tenerris. I didn't know what happened to Harrison or Crimson.
