Ok, given the recent issues of pricing, exclusive weapons for everyone except veterans, and this classless Luke guy in the interview, who is ready to throw their money at the screen. Without attacking other people directly give your vote and state your reason.

EMOTES are WORTHLESS and have zero functionality. You said we are "unaware" of what's literally worthless and throw money at you for what's worthless. That's not happening. All I know is that I did not like the way he answered in this interview. I don't think they should even charge for this DLC. I think it should be free to Day 1 Players. But then again I lived through everything. The bugs, the animal error codes, the terrific story or lack thereof, the long hours waiting for an update, and then learning that there will not be any free content at all. I mean I really thought Bungie would give us something back for all the time we put into this game. But the fact that they are now charging another $40 - $80 for game of the year edition. Its a joke. Destiny might be a good game, but its no way a game of year. Thats a big fat joke.

All I know is I just got Destiny & the two DLC’s just B4 Taken King was announced & I was stuck doing the same Content over & over again so fast it’s Pathetic... Destiny is an Awesome game if not for its Total Lack of Content...

1 ReplyFor all of the players who have been playing this game since release and therefore taken part in helping this game grow and balance to turn around and try and charge 40 dollars for the next dlc is absurd and a slap to the face of your loyal customers. Both of your dlc's so far are light on content especially considering your only rehashing old areas. How about 20 dollars for ALL THE NEW CONTENT which includes all the in game stuff in the collectors addition. That's the least you could do to take care of the people who have supported this game both financially and by playing it through all the bumps in the road we have endured along the way.

If you actually believe that there aren't more people like Luke Smith in the business then you are saddly mistaken. If you've never opened your mouth and inserted your foot into it, then by all means continue to vent. If you've never tried to snow somebody by making like you knew what you were talking about, but got busted, then hold up your hand. And after this disaster you still don't know why DeeJ has a job, well then you'll never get it.

Whilst I feel shortchanged by POE - this should of been an addition to a raid rather than an instead of a raid, I'll still get the taken King but its make or break for me in destiny. I've had plenty of value out of the game so far but I do think its a piss take, especially the pricing in regards to both the prices for new / day 1 players and the lack of currency conversion £40 = $63. Money for Dance Moves - Luke Smith is an idiot as that reporter found out you “Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.”

I have, as Smith suggests, performed my own valuation of the game. Based on the money spent vs. entertainment received, I will get the Taken King (assuming no huge let-down announcements) at the minimum price they're offering, when it releases. As for the interview, I don't give a shit. Hamfisted executives -blam!-ing up interviews and offending customers is [i]old news[/i]. Most people who work for a business have no business talking about that business.

2 RepliesHonestly, I sort of regret my pre-order of the original season pass. I've put maybe 15-20 hours into HoW, and I'm over it. It's garbage. I miss the large team aspect that was totally ignored with that particular content set, and I should have passed on it. I will not be making the same mistake twice. Did the interview impact my decision? No. The stupidity of Bungie's PR people isn't my concern. I'd have to buy the game again regardless, as I've upgraded to the One since I dropped Destiny. So price or repurchase isn't a factor. The ultimate problem is that Bungie is attempting to please too many disparate player interest groups, and isn't really succeeding with any. So everyone is always getting a smaller slice of the enjoyment they think they're paying for. Are a few "year one player bonuses" going to fix that? Nope. Is a massive amount of new content going to fix that? The parent company hopes so, I'm sure. But I'm very, very skeptical. So, until I have some solid proof that sticking with this game will be worth it, in the words of Mark Cuban: "I'm out." I may play some occasionally with friends for kicks without the new DLC, but they'll be lucky if I ever pre-order anything from anyone associated with Activision again. ESO, anyone?

At least they can create a game with content, a storyline, a real open world environment sandbox to play in, game stability, with dedicated servers, giving no zoo of error codes kicking you out of the game, your weapons are not made useless after 3 month, they don't tell me how to play the game, and DLC is [b][u]FREE[/u][/b].
