Vanity items are useless. Makes no impact on how I game and doesn't fix the terrible pricing of the taken king or the lack of an exchange rate for UK players.

I really don't want to get my hopes up and then bungie crushes my dreams with like: "All day one players will get a legendary package in the postmaster!" That would suck.

I'd only buy TTK if they gave out the next two DLC's after it for free to veteran's, and had a few customization packs in it on top of the few bonuses we veteran's get now. Such as six or seven new Ghosts shells exclusive to us, six or seven new ships, and same with shaders and emblems, would all be exclusive to veteran's who bought TTK. In my opinion, for $40 worth of DLC, that SHOULD be what we receive. Not this petty bullshit, like a single new shader, sparrow, emblem, and ship, or whatever it is they planned on giving to us. DLC shouldn't even cost that much, so they better deliver and give us a shit load of exclusive stuff, or make the next two DLC's free to veteran's. F[i]u[/i]cking Khenarthi's Roost (Look it up. One of the smallest playable islands in the game.) in ESO has more story and different activities to do in it then Destiny does in the whole damn game, so free DLC is the least they can do. But Bungie and Activision have to be money whores and cut out pieces of their game just to sell it to us later on. Before you say anything, THAT IS what they did. Bungie had all of the DLC they were going to release, what it was going to contain, and around what time it would be released fixated. That stupid "They were just putting a large chunk of the DLC play area on the servers to reduce download size" or "they put those areas on the servers so they can test them" is literally a lie straight to your face. Bungie and Activision are lazy ass cows, who's last-made honest dollar was probably in primary school selling lemonade on the side of the road, and even then they probably watered the stuff down. Go ahead and keep milking the dry cow. You're not getting anything in return but reskinned cosmetics, enemies, weapons, armor poorly designed exotic weapons/armor, and a few campaign missions that have you run through the already-made maps, but backwards. If this is what you spend your money on and you're proud of it, you shouldn't be proud. In Dishonored, they came out with two huge DLC's that had more content in it than the first two DLC's of Destiny, PLUS TTK have combined, and together, they only cost $20. Dishonored; -The Knife of Dunwall DLC ($10) --Brand new HUGE areas to explore --A new armament of powers you can use EXCLUSIVE to the new playable character, Daud. --A new, thick and grasping story that is great in quality and will have you wanting more when you finish the DLC. --Three new missions on those three new areas that, if you play the game correctly, takes over 3-4 hours to beat, ALONE. (I've played TKoD over 5 times, and each time, the play through took over 3 and a half hours at least.) --New enemies (not reskinned ones. Brand new enemies, literally) and even a new, much harder difficulty to fight them on. --new collectives that enhance your characters' abilities, such as magic, health, walk speed while crouched, choke time, etc, and at least 8-10 of them to find. --High replay value Dishonored; -The Brigmore Witches DLC ($10) --Brand new HUGE areas to explore --A few more new powers you can use EXCLUSIVE to the new playable character, Daud. --A new, thick, [i]continued[/i] and grasping story that is great in quality and will have you wanting more when you finish the DLC. You are allowed to carry over your save on The Knife of Dunwall to play on. --Three new missions on those three new areas that, if you play the game correctly, takes over 3-4 hours to beat, ALONE. Idk about you, but that's some damn fine ingenuity right there) --a new story composed of probably 10 missions or less that take less than 20 minutes to beat, each (if it takes you any longer, even on the higher difficulties, maybe you shouldn't even be playing Destiny) --reskinned base weapons --a few new exotics that will probably be as equally bad and unbalanced as the last ones. If they don't, God help us because Bungie would've turned over a new leaf in that event. --probably a new crucible game mode with 4 or 5 new maps to play on, probably as equally unbalanced as the last few, yet again. --new Raid that will undoubtably have a pathetic amount of bugs, which is not excusable. Just laziness. I mean, they "test" on their servers, so shouldn't they detect this stuff? --maybe 2-3 new, boring and rushed strikes, which, again, takes about 15-20 minutes to beat. --all of this new gameplay, with the exception of the Raid (maybe), has a low replay value (don't act like it doesn't because you're a fanboy who'd suck Bungie's d[i]i[/i]ck for a nickle.) Just to show what you're paying for. You get less content in Bungie's largest DLC, TTK, which is $40, than you do in at least ONE of Dishonored's DLC's, which is $10. Congratulations, Bungie. I didn't think a studio as prestigious as yourself could drop down the toilet that fast, but boy was I proven wrong. I'm glad to say that 343 took over Halo, because God knows you'd turn it into a "Destiny" if you had more time with it. TL;DR You are paying more for less with Destiny, whereas in most other games, you pay less for more. Enjoy wasting your money for a pathetic excuse for a game that Destiny is. I'm sure Bungie will gladly take your money you blindly gave to them without second thought to it.

I've picked up 3 things from this whole shit show: 1. Luke Smith is [i]real[/i] bad at his job and doesn't represent Bungie at all, unlike what everyone seems to assume here. 2. The bonuses probably aren't going to matter in the long run for either side. 3. I'm still going to buy TTK when it releases, though I'm not pre-ordering because I don't feel like it.

It's probably not going to be anything cosmetic. It might be something actually tangible. My idea was early access to the new subclasses. It doesn't even have to be a huge length of time, either. Just a week or two.

It comes with a big red nose also, it equips on as a relic item. I'm sure deej ran to the green screen and put on the tight animation suit to create some new dance moves for us. Which will be poorly render of course and given to us in all highest stander for year 1 vets. I'm sure one of the dance moves will be call the dirty chicken , another one will be call fish out of the water. I hope this new sparrow has some weapons on it like what the fallen have. That would at least make the damn thing useful and please no stupid paint job but it will come equip with pink flowers. The flowers will give you - 20% on all burns and your health is cut in half. Let's not forget the purple engram that will turn into some poorly crapy item which you will dismantle . Maybe deej will get that dumb kid again from the dark below trailer. What was his name again ? Ok let's not blow this outta proportion. Sure a lot of people were saying they were done with Destiny because of this but let's be real...95% of those people will come right back when more TTK news is released or when TTK drops. Sure that made me really mad, but i know I'm still gonna buy TTK. Plus only a certain percentage of players even read that interview. Thousands of players just play this game and sometimes hop on the forums to find a raid team. They have no clue this even happened. If anything it was a small dent in the playerbase, and small at that.

Is this a Sony exclusive? Or for both consoles?

I really don't care about shaders ships and -blam!-ing emotes, none of those things make me want to give bungie more money so I won't.
