Deej didn't do jack. He pompously tried to curry the tide in his favor.
1. He stated veterans would get something better
HOWEVER, he didn't see it as urgent to do damage control, and will post it in the weekly update. Which allows for time to come up with an idea to appease the crowd.
2. He stated that the collectors edition is almost sold out and you can find it on eBay for a lot more than we are asking for
WHICH is basically saying, you shouldve bought it from us, because it's as cheap as it gets, even if it is ridiculously $80

I find it hard to believe that people still don't see that releasing the full details of the entry level collectors edition [b]before[/b] releasing the details of the Founders pack was nothing more than a cynical PR move to hype the community. Which you all fell for hook line and sinker - including the supposedly professional reporters in games journalism. (oh wow, i typed "professional reporters" with a straight face). This "idea to appease the crowd" is simply the details of the Founders pack that they have been trolling you with by withholding. Nothing new. Nothing last minute. Not put together in a panicked response. Just details they were always going to give, at the point in the time line when they planned to give them. All through the Destiny build up and releases they have maintained this habit of long waits and carefully parcelled up information drops. I doubt if they will break that habit because so far it has been a highly successful method to drive interest and sales.

Opinion. I am most likely getting the dlc now since deej said that. And DeeJ has never failed to deliver. Most of what people asked for was in dlc2. Especially ascending. So have some faith in DeeJ, and in Bungie.
