There are very few ways they could actually give us anything "better". An exclusive shader is not "better". An emblem isn't better. The only thing that could be better than the exotic class items is another exotic class item that boosts xp more, or a gun or armour. And I'd bet they aren't making exclusive day-one weapons or armour. Remember that exclusive emblem for playing the beta? Yeah, an ugly grey PoS. And it wasn't even legendary tier. There's not many option to make anything better, so I doubt it will be.

The shader doesn't matter because it's totally subjective. You'd have to pay me $20 to wear that shader tbh. It's still not going to change the colour of your exotics. You can't say the shader is better because some people will think it's stupid.

We're supposedly getting a ghost, shader, ship, class item, and sparrow from what I've heard so far. Just rumors though.

The only things we know we're getting are the shader, emblem & ship. None of those things or the other things you listed could possibly be better than an xp boost. Maybe if we get a legendary class item that provides an xp boost.

Congratulations. New players will get 2 boosts. Do you think the class item will just disappear a month after Taken King? They'll have those items forever. And I can guarantee you they stack, just like everything else in this game.
