You're willing to pay $40 for things that don't change the game in any way? Lmao. You're paying $40 for what is essentially a few new skins.

Ummm...are you daft? You're paying $40 for TTK content, the bonuses are just that. Bonuses for being an active player with at least 1 char 30+. So no, he's not paying 40 bucks for a few new skins.

He said if it's true he's getting the skins he is willing to buy it. Meaning that of all things was his deciding factor for his purchase.

I guess I could see how you would read it as that, but with the context of the current atmosphere taken (pun intended) into consideration, a lot of people were upset new players were getting exclusive bonuses that outweighed the veteran package. He is now under the impression (based on Deej's comments) that the veteran package will also have emotes, shader, sparrow, and possibly a class item. He is saying "if such is true" that is enough to make him no longer upset about the legendary edition and he'll be satisfied with just the digital download.

I liked the base game and Crotas End, but I can't see this type of thing lasting 10 years. I can't stand the fact that they're milking DLCS and being so obvious about it, man.

I agree with you to a point, but I was under the impression from the beginning that the "10 year plan" simply meant : Years 1-2 Base game + 3 to 4 expansions Years 2-3 Base game + 3 to 4 expansions etc etc I never assumed 1 title would last 2 years on its own without DLC's. Hell, most games I don't keep for more than 2 months before returning for credit towards another game. I'm honestly impressed a game with DLC has been able to keep my attention this long alone. That my friend, is why i'm still playing. I honestly enjoy the game and look forward to the expansions. Hell, it's cheaper to just play Destiny than buy new games every few months just to return them after beating the campaign lol.
