You really want to know how to get an exotic in crucible? Do really bad and get at the bottom of the scoreboard. People will agree. Just look at the score at the end. People on the bottom of the board get more loot.

I got like ten legendaries from 2nd or 3rd place but only one exotic which was patience and time.

Coming from someone whos kinda bad at Crucible this has not been the case for me, which is fair.
