I don't know about other people but with me its about principle not the money. The fact that I feel ripped off. That to me is more than the extra 40$. Also Activision/ bungie are major corporations why should I give them ANY extra money? Activision has made billions from cod. They can afford to drop the collectors digital items which is only 9.4mb of data. It won't hurt them as a company but it will earn them good will from players which goes a long way.

its an extra 20 bucks, not 40 bucks. 20 bucks is teh value of the extra stuff you want. 20 bucks is the value of stuff you dont want. if 20 bucks and "principles" is that important to you then you are not likely a collectors edition kind of person. as these are normally jacked up in price and limited in numbers to begin with. 80 bucks for a collectors edition is cheap. the fallout 4 collectors edition is 40 bucks more then the ttk collectors edition, and you actually get less stuff in that then you do in ttk. I'd buy both collectors editions if I could but I was late to the announcement and both are sold out already.

Ttk is 40$ the collectors edition stuff is not worth an extra 20$ imo at most its worth 10$ its a digital pack. All that other stuff is useless to me and physical. If you get digital than you get even less. It's a cash grab. Yes I'm a person who buys a lot of collectors editions but this one doesn't make any sense as 1. It's not a full release unless you have not bought the game before and 2. It doesn't even come with the season pass. Aside from the emotes there is nothing I want or need from the collectors edition. I refuse to pay 40$ for emotes that's absurd.

I would never pay the same amount for a digital collectors edition as a physical collectors edition. They are not real collectors editions if there are no collectables. So I kinda agree with you there.
