If you really don't care about the emotes and the class item then pay the 40 dollars. It's really not that much money, unless you are in a economic crisis in which case you really shouldn't complain about the prices as it would unwise to buy it to start. Deej (I think) stated that there would be more for year one players at the launch of TTK; that should be more than enough for now.
Unless they reveal it and it is shit, then we can complain.
