6 part quest: Step one: talk to the vanguard in tower to obtain quest Step two: sit in the cosmodrome for 12 hours straight and await further instructions Step three: better go back to the tower and talk to the vanguard again. Step four: acquire a rusty weapon frame from the gunsmith recycling box Step five: Polish and scrub the weapon frame whilst in the crucible. You must get 6000 kills with melee only. Death resets all progress. Step 6: take the weapon frame back to the gunsmith. Congratulations!!! You now own a blue shader.
