This morning, Destiny publisher Activision announced a new deal with Red Bull, making a quest in the upcoming Taken King expansion exclusive to people who buy specific cans of the drink. Now, Dying Light developer Techland has responded with a satire of the Destiny ad.

What does this say to me? It says that nobody reached out to Techland and said [quote]If we work out a deal and I give you a bunch of money, can you create some [b]extra[/b] content in your game that gives consumers more incentive to buy our product?[/quote] Any developer that turns that kind of deal down is a moron and to say otherwise is naive. Dying Light didn't get a deal like that because nobody gives a shit about Dying Light. It's not worth another companies time to invest in a marketing campaign that isn't going to produce enough ROI.
