So, I and a few of my fellow Clan Members (Death by Hug), have been wondering about the unusually large "Moon" in geostationary orbit above mars.
Now, I don't mean the small one that actually looks like Deimos or Phobos, but the HUGE Asteroid above mars: Images included in the imgur link!
Geo-Stationary Orbit? Too large & Too close - would have impacted
Given Stationary Debris between planetoid and Mars...
Possibly encountering a stasis field prior to impact?
Highly detailed (even given seams)
Not Phobos or Deimos due to size - That can be seen in the last set of images...
So, what is it? Possibly sent to destroy Mars but stopped with a stasis field?
All that is left of the Cabal's people?
An Arkship?
What are your thoughts?

Don't think on a human timescale. You need to think Astronomically/Geologically in terms of time. Entire Eras before impact for something already caught in orbit. Also the distance and size can be seen here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moons_of_Mars#/media/File:Mars_Moons_Orbit_distance.jpeg
