So ttk is still £40??
I thought everyone's outrage was at the base price for the dlc, not that they wouldn't get a few emotes and shaders. I was reading Luke smiths apology and thought £20 isn't going to be bad for the dlc, when I realised that it was just for 9 items and you would still have to pay £40 to play the dlc.

1 ReplyWhy hasn't this been addressed yet in the weekly update or anything, it's disgustingly greedy and an insult to our intelligence. I've seen BUNGIE's true colours they don't care about the fan base, why would they when they can just rinse them. I'm guessing the emotes for UK will be £20, which is ridiculous, so pay £40 for taken king then £20 for 9 items which is £60, but the collectors edition includes everything for £55. Do they pull these numbers out of their arse, but this isn't just the UK , it's everything outside America. It also becomes more apparent with this red bull promo items, which appears at the moment to be America only. Outside America everyone has been mugged off, we look stupid for buying any expansion. Don't worry as like smith said he only deals in dollars, ignorant -blam!-.

I'm in the latter category. Now way i'm paying $60 for old the TTK and some old dlc i either already have or didn't want.

The issue I have along with thousands of others is the dlc is the same price as I paid for destiny brand new from a normal shop of the day of release but it only includes a quarter of the content. They seem to be just ignoring this fact and just try to justify it by saying it is a major update and the other Dlc's were £20, the issue with this is the other dlc's were also over price and I was very disappointed by what I actually got for my money. At least this has now taught me to never buy dlc in advanced as I didn't save anything doing so and probably wouldn't have brought it if saw first what I was getting for my money. Sorry all I can now say is I did enjoy the original game but you can now stick it. I hope all your existing players leave so the rest of the games industry don't think they can get away with it and try and follow suit. If they do I'll have to move back to pc gaming.

1 ReplyHonestly half the bitching would vanish if they'd release a list of the content in the DLC and prove for once and for all that the thing is worth at least 40.00 but so far they like to play mysterious and it's losing them customers. Their PR and advertising people need replaced.

I enjoyed it but its usually done with in a few hours (replaying the same content is not new content) I probably wont buy the next DLC, I enjoy Destiny and like the way it feels to play as an FPS, but Im voting with my wallet. Its bullshit we are expected to pay $23 extra for the same content
