I am butthurt having to spend $20/$31.48 UK, so I am gonna buy....
lol so much complaining, At a certain part of my awesome life I was a teacher, this forum sounds like a classroom of 7th graders. Anyhow, a lot of peeps seem to be forgetting its a choice to get 3 emotes, 3 class items and 3 shaders for $20...lets take a moment and see what else we can get for $20...ill kick it off ....*this is a forum on the internet, idgaf about grammar.
-I am gonna buy a weeks worth of cigs..week goes by..cigs gone..3 emotes, 3 class items and 3 shaders still there
-I am gonna buy a pizza...pizza gone, am full...3 emotes, 3 class items and 3 shaders still there
-I am gonna buy some beer...beer gone..am drunk...3 emotes, 3 class items and 3 shaders still there
-I am gonna take gf to movies...movie done..gf wont let you play destiny..3 emotes, 3 class items and 3 shaders still there
-I am gonna buy gems in clash of clans..towers upgraded to lvl 5..stll losing all my resources..3 emotes, 3 class items and 3 shaders still there
-I am gonna gas up my car..you still dont go anywhere...3 emotes, 3 class items and 3 shaders still there
-I am gonna go to gym for a month..still overwieght...3 emotes, 3 class items and 3 shaders still there
-I am gonna take girl to starbucks..still a virgin...3 emotes, 3 class items and 3 shaders still there
-I am gonna buy soap, shampoo, take a shower..still dont shower, instead play destiny...3 emotes, 3 class items and 3 shaders still there
-I am gonna pay 1/3 of my phone bill...still no one calls you...3 emotes, 3 class items and 3 shaders still there
..so you get where I am going with this...feel free to add to the list..lets keep it going
*edit: I am no longer a teacher, that was a short lived moment, I am now part of a successful communication network that is education based....at least it use to be lol

5 RepliesWithin 1 month of $20 purchase you will no longer care about shaders etc. Like anything else in life newness wears off quickly. You could use $20 towards a new/ different video game like Black Ops 3 and get much more value from that. The only piece of gear/weapon in all of Destiny worth an individual purchase would be a Gally; which should be sold in DLC for $5 so everyone can be on an equal playing field.

5 RepliesNot the point, they are charging 20 dollars, what we paid for house of wolves and Crotas end for content that should honestly be given to players. The 4 emotes we had to use through the game are sad and old. Making us pay a premium for what amounts to 3 hours of work in maya and photoshop(if these didn't already exist, and bungie is just now making them available to the players) is wrong. And beside the price point, the way bungie is treating it's loyal playerbase is what pisses me off the most, telling us we are too dumb to understand the "value" of digital content is the worst part, and the reason lots of us are angry. And yeah, a pizza might be 20 dollars, but I know the pizza man isn't trying to screw me over.

1 ReplyI love how people will spend ~35 dollars on around 4 cosmetics in one sitting in tf2(I know people do, because I was once one of them), but when Destiny sells you 9 cosmetics for an extra 20 when you get the special edition of the next major expansion, suddenly they are the goddamn reincarnation of satan. Let's say I want the Rancho Relaxo and Conga taunts to add to my TF2 collection, boom 20 dollars well spent. Now let's say I want those 9 new items in Destiny, boom 20 dollars w- "omg you're what's ruining the gaming industry as we know it." Just sayin' ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

1 ReplyFor us Brits it shouldn't be £20 ($31) it should be £12. Every other game out ATM I can order from USA for $60 it will be sent to me and I pay £38 not £60.
