This was something that occurred to me the other day. The loot system just feels broken, loot rarity doesn't really have a meaning other then "Now I can reach level cap" with armor. Usually in games you can get common/legendary weapons for your level whether you're beginning the game or at endgame but in destiny loot rarity seems to just be tied with what level you are. There are no level 20 rares and no level 10 legendaries. You use Commons until level 5 then Rares till 10-15 then whatever the blue are called t'ill level 20 (you get where im going.) Same goes with armor but with armor I feel like light levels just made everything a mess unlike other RPGs/MMOs where you have Legendary armor that shows you've done the raid with no other legendary armor being able to be obtained without having done a hard activity and it being level 28 armor. Other level 28s would see that and be like "I want some legendary armor" or whatever. I really dont know how to explain what I mean and trying to think of and trying to think about what i actually mean and then going over and thinking back to how destiny's stuff works is confusing me but hopefully you can sort of get what I'm trying to say and hopefully someone can translate my jumbled up mess of a post. EDIT: This should make more sense feel free to skip everything above. I guess what I'm trying to say is you should be able to be level 32 (lets ignore the whole light stuff because thats a mess in and of itself) and be well off with full blue armor and legendary armor would be better and show that you've done things like raids and nightfalls being reserved for harder activities and making "Legendary Armor"/Exotics actually feel special. like there should be all rarity types for all levels of armor/weapons and give those rarities meaning.
