Destiny Community,
Destiny was rated 6.5/10 for a reason. I want Destiny to improve so I can keep playing, not get worse so I leave, I like the game; I don't love it (currently).
If you support this, don't JUST vote, bump and comment to get this trending and to stay in the spotlight, a silent vote doesn't work as well.
Before I start please read this poem to better understand our situation
First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.
Destiny is starting to turn out like another major gaming franchise, you all know who I mean. There is no real reason to provide a collectors editon (CE) for Destiny 1 TTK Expansion Edition, however that would be appropriate/acceptable for a Destiny 2. By creating a CE they have introduced un-timed exclusives which isn't smart as lots of the players like to collect stuff even without the vault space to fit it.
Nobody really wanted to pay for this stuff considering long term players have paid more than enough to get up to and including TTK, but because some players don't understand value vs percieved value the community has been slapped in the face with "pay $20 and get 9 items" which is a big microtransaction, if this sort of thing is allowed to stand soon season passes wont allow you to get everything during the 'season'.
Pricing is 100% fine for the physical CE and the legendary edition, they are perfectly priced IMO.
$40 for TTK is not ok when the previous DLC 1&2 were poorly recieved, I understand TTK looks (so far) like it will be awesome, but you DO NOT get to charge this high a price point to CONTINUE after the initial release was a small rock dropped in an ocean and the DLC's were a couple of ripples through the sea.
Charging $20/$25 IMO would be the best price point (the best would be free as a thank you for all the f---ups over the year, but I don't see that happening and don't think it as absolutely necessary) and this would honestly make a lot of Destiny players feel like you care that they stuck around through all the BS.
Stay strong guardians, protect your light
PS: A couple things 1.) Deej doesn't make the game and has no (real) power, don't give him a hard time. 2.) ACTIVISION is the publisher; this means they are the ones either soley or mostly responsible for pricing in the game.

Quoting Niemöller in regards to bungie employing unfair market practices? Lol I love our generation and the internets
-
y'all should leave now don't wait!
-
TTK, special edition and all the cosmetic garbage are just a last effort to take as much money as they can from you before November when the hits start rolling out for next gens like fallout 4 and battlefront 3. If you don't buy it, then you will be locked out of daily and weekly activities. So if you want to play parts of the game you previously purchased, then you have to purchase more content. There are too many issues with this game to justify throwing money at the screen over and over again and I'm not waiting till year 10 for bungie to get it together and get ready for more of the same shit in destiny 2.
-
The one and only thing holding me back from buying TTK is the lack of adequate vault space. If they fix the vault permanently, I'll buy TTK. Otherwise, it's pointless to grind for new loot that I can't keep anyway.
-
Despite the issues I still enjoy this game tremendously. Being married for a year and having a 9 month old son its nice to jump on and have a few differnts tasks to complete in my spare time. This helps me stay sane. The beer probably helps me out too though.

I am the 4%!
-
Only 4% are being honest here....

Auto rifles are rising again. I care not for the other nerfs and this whole spiel about TTK expansion. I'm willing to pay because I love this game. Pricing, however, is a different topic.

Just wait a few years, buy allllll the content for $30 bucks, then rank up to lvl 54 in a few days without all the hassle of grinding and adjusting to constant gameplay mechanic changes. It's not like Bungie will reward you for your hard work anyways, this is a proven strategy. Haha, I quit this game.
-
If they sold the taken king , which is meant to have the same content as the base game , for $20 dollars , they would not make money . Simple as that .

Well there goes about 63% of your community bungie
-
Not getting TTK, they're expecting us to pay designer prices for imitation goods as soon as TTK paywall goes up I'm done. Totally fed up with them lying to us and treating us like complete idiots. We are not your free withdrawal cash machines Bungie, we have bills and overheads as well. Get real your actual playable content isn't worth the money you ask for it.

Bump.

I totally agree with this post. This game needs right changes. What they graze over is just the thin surface of this game.

Bump it

Yea! I love this post! I also love that poem!

Why the hell are using a poem from the Holocaust! I'm offended! How dare you use such filth as to describe a VIDEOGAME! You're lack of perspective is atrocious, you need to seriously think before posting, and take that poem off this post!

THANK YOU. Everyone's blaming Bungie for a lot of this crap happening to Destiny. No one realizes that Activision is the one cutting content and over-pricing things. Bungie only has creative control. Activision does everything else.
