Destiny Community,
Destiny was rated 6.5/10 for a reason. I want Destiny to improve so I can keep playing, not get worse so I leave, I like the game; I don't love it (currently).

Before I start please read this poem to better understand our situation
First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.
Destiny is starting to turn out like another major gaming franchise, you all know who I mean. There is no real reason to provide a collectors editon (CE) for Destiny 1 TTK Expansion Edition, however that would be appropriate/acceptable for a Destiny 2. By creating a CE they have introduced un-timed exclusives which isn't smart as lots of the players like to collect stuff even without the vault space to fit it.
Nobody really wanted to pay for this stuff considering long term players have paid more than enough to get up to and including TTK, but because some players don't understand value vs percieved value the community has been slapped in the face with "pay $20 and get 9 items" which is a big microtransaction, if this sort of thing is allowed to stand soon season passes wont allow you to get everything during the 'season'.
Pricing is 100% fine for the physical CE and the legendary edition, they are perfectly priced IMO.
$40 for TTK is not ok when the previous DLC 1&2 were poorly recieved, I understand TTK looks (so far) like it will be awesome, but you DO NOT get to charge this high a price point to CONTINUE after the initial release was a small rock dropped in an ocean and the DLC's were a couple of ripples through the sea.
Charging $20/$25 IMO would be the best price point (the best would be free as a thank you for all the f---ups over the year, but I don't see that happening and don't think it as absolutely necessary) and this would honestly make a lot of Destiny players feel like you care that they stuck around through all the BS.

PS: A couple things 1.) Deej doesn't make the game and has no (real) power, don't give him a hard time. 2.) ACTIVISION is the publisher; this means they are the ones either soley or mostly responsible for pricing in the game.

Yeah...Im still trying to offer feedback for improvement. But I feel like Helen Keller...

Holy shit, you actually trotted out the Niemoller quote over this? Do you have any sense of perspective here? How old are you? Pro Tip: our "situation" here doesn't resemble anything even remotely close to the circumstances in which Niemöller made that statement. If you have any sense of shame, you'll remove that shit from your post. If you want to complain about the game, great. But you're neither persecuted nor a martyr, and you're certainly not being shuffled off to the gas chambers. Get. Over. Yourself.

Speak it brother! Bump for VAULE!

Does the game come with free food, wait it's our destiny to be Ethiopians
-
Not putting anymore money into this game. Gonna suck all my money away bunch of greedy bastards
-
I just try to play and have fun, but its difficult when you cant find people near your skill level or like minded. Not too many other potato people playing this game...Im a potato pancake! Very rare indeed!

I pre-ordered the vanilla game and the season pass & all I got for putting my faith in bungie's ability to deliver the epic game we all believed Destiny would become is empty worlds and minimal content followed by recycled garbage. So I'll treat Bungie with the same contempt they've shown the community; I'm going to purchase a used copy of the collector's edition (so I can play TTK) and then wait till next summer and do the same for the rest of the year 2 dlcs. Bungie won't be getting any more money out of me, but I'll still get access to the game.
-
Yes I do It's not great but fun in its own rights I hope they get their shit together with TTK soon

I am holding out, I do not know what they did for TTK, waiting to see If I will want, but, I am using Destiny as a control group now to decide what games I should purchase... when Starwars battlefront drops, I will be looking at review a bit, but mostly player footage, of both TTK and STBF to see if I might drop Destiny... I would Like Destiny to increase in value for me to continue on later down, it has some decent gameplay (other than bungie nerfing weapons improperly, and nerfing shots and fusions period) Something I will need to believe the game is worth it, is in game matchmaking for endgame content... It is not an MMO or RPG by any means... There is no trade system to go with the Loot system designed for it... And I am required to add randoms off forums to play endgame content (which has resulted in me only having 8 raid completions, and that will be it) Not a big fan of how the DLC divides playerbase in crucible at the moment... The content for crucible, (as far as I am concerned) should be rolled out for free... So the entire playerbase has acess to the available gamemodes...non DLC vendors, gear should always be purchasable and use-able by anyone that bought destiny if it currently Is not... Leave the exclusive for DLC content for your PvE missions, strikes, story an Raids... Basically, I am thinking they should try not to divide their playerbase in crucible, and not limit certain buys in tower (if they are limited) They should try to push out valuable content for pve for revenue, and compliment crucible with some decent maps with each expansion... I can see a way for the crucible maps being part of DLC buys to be worth it without dividing playerbase, but the game is not set up like that.

Ba-bump for changes
-
I have learnt my lesson the hard way - i.e. I'll buy "Destiny 2" 14months later and get the Base game, all DLC's etc for probably £50.00 cheaper if not more. Just awaiting Fallout 4

No amount of DLC can make this shell of a game close to what we were promised.
-
The fact that someone thinks this quote is appropriate (as it applies to the sanctity and morality of collective human social responsibility in the face of politically motivated genocide) is hilarious. Tyrone.. please get this motivated about something important! The world beyond your borders is burning! Read a newspaper dude!

It wouldn't be this bad if it wasn't for the COD fanboys. Activision has dropped 3 flops in a row with COD yet it still sells like crazy. They were also the first company to put a 20$ price tag on dlc when everyone else was at 15$. And it was 4 maps!
-
Too many people willing and wanting to throw money at the screen. Luke is right. A large part of the Destiny fan base will buy anything Bungie sells at any price Bungie wants. It's just the way it is now in gaming (except for CDPR games).
-
The is game has amazing potential, it's just a shame that they keep f***ing it up
-
You r really quoting someone talking about the holocaust? Really? It's a videogame and you are going to relate it to that? That's pretty horrible. I agree with the points you made but that part was not needed.
-
Nope, they had a year and failed to deliver. Started playing ESO yesterday and it makes Destiny look like it was made by incompetent baboons.
