For the sake of my own personal amusement, and probably a few other people's too: I'm getting real tired of your ****, Tyrone~!
On another note, I agree with a lot of what you've said. Destiny is an exceptionally good game in comparison to the rinse, dry and repeat titles that players are swarming towards at this moment in time. However, a lot of your points are coming from the perspective of an average consumer, and not a developer or an artist. Granted, the pricing could be revised.
$20 for Expansion One? No, the RAID isn't even a RAID... It's an overzealous Strike.
Expansion Two was the make-or-break for me with Destiny. I was promised trading, customisation and a whole heap of other goodies when Destiny was in development, and we got given a game that still needed a whole year of development on top of it. Thankfully, I didn't actually pay the $35 price for the Expansion Pass, I won it in a bet. So it wasn't me that was directly affected by the expansions being a failure. It wasn't until I saw Expansion Two and the fact that the Digital Guardian Edition was $50 on the XBL Marketplace that I jumped on it - the reason being that I don't want to risk forking out the same price for another disc should I break it, which happens a lot.
The Taken King's $40 price-tag was fair, considering it's basically a game on top of the game.
In my opinion, $5 for EX1, $10 for EX2, and $20 for TTK.
