They want to make as much money as possible. If it was rated M they would make less money due to the smaller fanbase. All in all, while you make some good points, bungie and activision would rather make money then raise children. A parents job btw. Most parents suck. You would have to change society. Capitalism wins. Everything else is irrelevant to massive corporations

  • GTA V, Black ops 2, Black ops, MW2, MW3 the highest selling non-Nintendo games of all time, are all rated M. Destiny would have been just fine.

    Those are all established IP's. They already have the fanbase to support it. Destiny would be seen as a gamble to investors because it didnt already have the support that all those sequels you mentioned have. Not to mention that bungie also created a new genre with destiny. Unproven as a money maker.

  • I agree totally. I was just pointing out how pointless it is to argue with video game companies about this topic because of the way the system works. Money is reason they do everything.
