I'm guessing from number 3 that you're on XBox, right?
Also, I completely agree with your underlying premise but I think 18+ is too strict. Parents need educating and need to take responsibility for their kids' gaming habits (and probably a whole ton of other aspects of their growth).
And while everyone is banging on about studies proving this and that, bear in mind they all assumed the games were being used in an age appropriate manner. You can you honestly tell me you'd be ok with your kid/baby brother/sister playing something like Manhunt at 6 years old?

I played it as a 6 year old XD. Not bad honestly, pretty screwed up, but not as bad as what you would see from Iraq or what terrorist groups were doing in the real world.

Edited by Jangla: 6/26/2015 1:48:24 PMAnd as a 6 year old, how readily available would you say beheading videos were? Your knowledge of the inner workings of terrorist organisations? Society changes and moves on and we become inured to what would previously caused outrage and disgust. Manhunt, at the time, was waaaaaay out there but seems relatively tame by today's standards. My point is that regardless of the medium, we should take responsibility to ensure the content we/our family members/kids/friends consume is age appropriate.

Play station actually

Wow. I'm genuinely shocked. I've never had a screaming, swearing little runt in a PS lobby. XBox, sure. Never PS.

Do you use a mic? They're everywhere

Never play without one. Guess I'm lucky. I rarely play with randoms though :)
