18 is a little bit high there. By 15 or 16 most people understand the difference between a video game and real life. As for Destiny, its not even that violent. Sure there are guns and stuff, but there is not any blood. All enemies instantly decompose or just spontaneously die. It doesnt really feel the same as killing in a game like Battlefield or GTA. It was given a T rating because it lacked two of the most important things that would make it M: in game cursing and blood and gore. Whoever they meet online isnt controlled by Bungie, and it isnt their fault for someone teaching some kids bad words. And as for the kids having the game in the first place, thats the parents decision. The government cant dictate what goes on in ones house. The system cant change as kids will always be able to get their parents to buy them the games. If you want to stop kids from playing, you have to stop the parents from buying. And this is coming from a 17 year old who can buy M games alone.
