Wow, deep end a little bit? Breath, all the things you listed were actually bigger problems with kids before video games. Kids don't act out because they saw it in a game. Kids act out from a primal desire to experience everything. It's only when the reason and fear we have taught them kick in that they start to behave more appropriately.
There is a distinct lack of parenting. Although, given the drug fueled 70s and 80s, parenting was a problem then too.
There will always be something to be upset about, just try not to jump head first. The minimum age for this game in the US is 13. Probably a little young I agree. Although the flip side is, how constructively do you help your children with their time. My kids can earn up 30 mins a day of digital play time. The games they get to play are Final Fantasy 4 or Kingdom Hearts or Chrono Trigger. They need to learn some video game history as they grow up too.
