We need performance-based matchmaking in all events.
Finally got varkis to give me the elder cypher again, and with nobody on my friends list to play POE with I decide to play the lvl 28.
Huge mistake. In the first game I scored more than twice as many kills as the other two players combined. A good run on 28 should take 15 minutes but that one took half an hour. I practically solo the whole thing and complete every objective while one of the other players camped and the other one suicides into every mob.
After that, my tolerance for bullshit is at zero and I simply leave the next two games. In both, one of the other players goes AFK during every round. They only come back to make sure they're not kicked.
I don't play this game to be a slave for leeches and scrubs. This current setup seems designed to put nearly all of the burden on players that aren't a leech or scrub, and does nothing to punish those who are because payouts are completely rng.
This kind of makes me hate the devs and the game itself, because they apparently hate the people who play this game. The new Elimination pvp mode has "skill based" matchmaking so there's no good reason why everything else shouldn't have it, too.
