Etheric Light... Why can't I have you?
Well I've had HoW since day one and I can't get any etheric light. I don't have hardly anyone to do endgame stuff with. Except one Nightfall Strike that resulted in NO etheric light. And I havn't been able to do the harder Prison of Elders because of no matchmaking. Only the lvl 32 arena once that doesn't give etheric light. AND IT WAS SO HARD! I missed the Iron Banner because I happened to go and visit family the week before and didn't know the Iron Banner was going to come up while I was gone. The Iron Banner was the ONLY reason I made it to lvl 32 with my hunter during Dark Below. Bungie please give us an easier way to get etheric light. Or something. Their has got to be an easier way. Please someone help me!!!!

Finally got an Etheric Light from a Nightfall strike! Gonna use it on my first ever legendary weapon that I actually used. :)

Iron Banner is the easiest way for solo players to get ethric light. If you have a team ToO and PoE lv 34 and 35 are the best easiest ways

I've just managed to get 6 Etheric Light from the Iron Banner. Whew! I was surprised today that I made it so easily with a 3rd character that didn't even have a class item, but I managed to get all of the bounties and turn them in after only around 2 hours. And it was enough to get from Rank 3 to Rank 5. (I started playing at Rank 2 today.) I'm happy that I now have a lvl 34 Hunter that actually looks the way I want. lol. :) Now; after about 6 days worth of Iron Banner, I shall take a small break. lol

Um make 2 more characters. I have 16 on tap and over 10-12 used already.

1 ReplyInstead of coming on here and clicking the "Destiny" option of the forums, try clicking the "Recruitment" option and browse the threads of different game types to find players.

2 RepliesYou can get 6 Etheric Light this week from IB. Matchmaking, only have to win every 6th game, and only costs glimmer. No player has an excuse for lacking Etheric Light. The game is practically handing it out to you.

If you did the Lv 32 POE 1 time, you could buy that armor, upgrade your exotic and be a lv 33. That will make the next time easier. By now you should be a 34 solely by doing PoE lv 32. Past that, I do PoE all the time with random people from LFG. Honestly Lv34 isn't that difficult, and lv35 takes a tad more time. But it's manageable. Stop making excuses. Also, you didn't know the IB was this week? It's the first week of every month.

1 ReplyIf your on ps4 add my psn LOLITZCRAIG I don't mind running through poe and n.f with people. I too work long hours so found it difficult to level as quick as others. I'm now 34 on 2 characters and 33 on another as I've been lucky enough to find some people in a similar position as me who helped me out. Join us if your on ps4 and we will help u level up in no time.

2 RepliesIt's actually really easy to find people in the recruitment section, 3 runs of the 34 and Skolas is 6 guaranteed a week, and Skolas is actually pretty easy with the recent patch

1 Reply1st complete prison of elders lvl 32 get your armor cores , take to Variks lvl your characters to 34, then when your at lvl 34 run PoE 34 and get the etheric light

Bite the bullet and use Reddit'sLFG section. I always meet chilled skilled players there and you don't have to commit to a long term relationship. You can even say that you'd prefer not to chat if, like me, you suck at socialising! Trust me, you won't look back apart from to laugh at making this post.

In less than the amount of time it took you to type this post, you could have found a fireteam for [i]any[/i] endgame activity you wanted to play. Instead, you chose to come on here and bitch. I have no friends in real life that play this game, yet I pretty much have everything I want ascended (except for the matador I had drop today).. Put a little effort into it. I have no sympathy.
