Etheric Light... Why can't I have you?
Well I've had HoW since day one and I can't get any etheric light. I don't have hardly anyone to do endgame stuff with. Except one Nightfall Strike that resulted in NO etheric light. And I havn't been able to do the harder Prison of Elders because of no matchmaking. Only the lvl 32 arena once that doesn't give etheric light. AND IT WAS SO HARD! I missed the Iron Banner because I happened to go and visit family the week before and didn't know the Iron Banner was going to come up while I was gone. The Iron Banner was the ONLY reason I made it to lvl 32 with my hunter during Dark Below. Bungie please give us an easier way to get etheric light. Or something. Their has got to be an easier way. Please someone help me!!!!

Edited by Hellekeen: 6/28/2015 8:25:59 PMrun 32 on all three toons get armor core two weeks and you will have enough to be 34 with one and one char 33.. then run PoE34 and get etheric light get the second chat to 34 run 34 two times and 32 for the armor cores.. thrid week there you are.. for the rest use destinylfg.com.. sad but true.. no way to play the game without a third party website..

Why do people complain about no matchmaking? Just go to #recruitment and you can get a team in seconds.

Please see the thoughtful responses below. There are plenty of resources to help lonely people find other friendless hermits. Obviously, I'm wondering how the hell do people not have friends to play games with? Either that, or Destiny has more people bailing on it than we think. I have no trouble getting friends and my people skills are obviously terrible.

Just join a group on the forums. Ask for help with PoE or nightfall and I'm sure someone will help you. I do the 34 once a week so I get one etheric light a week. Do the 32 as well so you can get an armor core.

Step one, get on computer Step two, use lfg to find group Step three, do stuff with them that gives etheric light Step four, don't post on forums for things you can do yourself.

I've got the same problem, recently came back to destiny after taking a fairly big break, I also don't have much time due to having a kid and working, but that being said, just get yourself on the recruitment forums, make a post requesting some patient people willing to help you and bam! You're sorted! Thanks to two very nice warlocks I did my first lvl 32 Poe the other day to get my first armor piece. The help is there, you just need to put in the effort to try and find it.
