About edit 3, that is kind of how it works. If we don't have weapons, we can barely do anything. U must be a kinderguardian. If we were able to get guns before HoW, we should be able to use them anywhere. And weapons weren't able to be reforged (except for iron banner weapons) before HoW. U can only reforge new guns (or iron banner guns)

It means that you are all too attached to your guns to see the big picture. It's really pathetic. Remember the scene with the queen's brother taking your gun from you? He proved a point; guardians are pathetic without their guns.
