biggest things I took away from the ending(aka real spoilers).
1
Arkham Knight reveal was WAY too obvious. I know that had to explain who he was for non batman fans, but they should have done that after the reveal.
2
Barbara should have stayed dead, it would have sucked more, but this game wasn't about having a happy ending.
3
I want Rocksteady to make a horror game next. Based on the original Arkham Asylum and the very end where you play as joker in first person, It would easily be known up there with amnesia and outlast. Seriously, that scene in the courtyard with the batman statues was scarier then the past two numbered resident evil games combined.
I totally agree about the Barbara thing though. I feel like fear gas is a weak explanation though because it's supposed to cause fear, not hallucinations. All it did was make him feel sad and guilty.

I don't mind the reveal being explained for non-Batman fans, but I do think that it was far too obvious regardless of your previous affiliations with the character (both out of the Flashbacks shown and due to no one else actually being presented as potential under the mask).
2

Barbara should have stayed dead, it would have sucked more, but this game wasn't about having a happy ending.

I disagree, I think her suicide being real (while certainly tragic) would have fridged her more than her paralysis did as her death only served to provide angst and guilt for Batman and Tim.
3

I want Rocksteady to make a horror game next. Tim never found out about batman's hallucination though. So there was no angst or guilt involved on his part.
-
But he was involved in a romantic relationship with her, if I remember correctly (or was that Dick?), and Bruce had to tell him she was dead eventually (she wasn't, thankfully). In any case, my apologies for bringing Tim up.

you have an option to tell him if you go up to him after locking him in.
-
Oh. Oops.
-
YESSS. Somebody else that agrees that Rocksteady should make a first person horror game. The part at the end I was joker I was on the edge the whole time. 2spooky8me.
-
I like the 3rd idea, but I think it would be better if the character was a cop, or employe locked inside the asylum.
-
I would prefer something different just because all of there scariest moments have been in characters heads. So more of a silent hill than an outlast.
-
Yeah dude that ending was crazy!! That was some Outlast stuff! (Without all the hiding under the bed nonsense).
-
Agreed on the last part! F*ck. I literally had to grit my teeth for the Courtyard scene :L this game actually nailed me with jump-scares. Made the original Arkham City Jump-Scare look tame
-
Which one? Killer Croc?
-
The one on Scarecrow's Barge where you zoom in on Roach (I learned his name from one of the stories you can unlock) and after you've been zoomed in on him for a few seconds, he does this weird scream and dies.
-
What????
-
There's an Easter Egg in Batman: Arkham City where there is a seemingly normal ship. If you land on the roof of said ship and use your Cryptographic Sequencer, you will be presented with a code cracking minigame (the password is
CITYOF FEAR
). Completing said minigame will open a door on the boat, allowing you to go inside and find various bugs and an unconscious thug strewn about the area (it's heavily implied to belong to Jonathan Crane).

Oooh, thanks!

Yes, the one you have to punch.
