Frankly I'm surprised there's a thread for good RNG moments. The RNG for Destiny sucks. Period. As proof, my worst RNG moment: you may recall a while back when Xur sold Truth. Since I didn't have a gjallarhorn (still don't) I hoped that Truth might be an acceptable substitute. (It's not.) About two days after buying Truth, six friends and I squared off against Atheon. When we emerged victorious, I got an exotic drop. Seeing that it was a rocket launcher I got very excited, thinking I'd finally have my very own gally. But it was Truth, gjallarhorn's disappointing little brother. This needs to be fixed.
