The image begins with the General packing his things to go on leave. There is a knock on the door, two gun men force their way in, Pavel rushes them disarming one, and killing the other. Two more enter and they exchange shots, Pavel is hit twice and goes down, still alive but barely. The last gunman standing carries him off before a cleaning team cleans up the bodies. Why they left things a mess is a mystery.
