In case you didn't realize, Destiny is an online social cooperative game. If you want to play through each mission one time and be done, go for it. I don't know why someone would buy Destiny to do that, though.
By your logic, Halo is only 10 hours to beat the game and play each multiplayer map one time. $60 for 10 hours.

What is "content?" The content of a game is the gameplay it provides. If you play Battlefield for 1000, then it offered you 1000 hours of content. The fact that that content is spread over a handful of maps is irrelevant.

Content is what is in the game, if a game has 12 hours of content no matter how much i replay it it's still 12 hours.

Then by your definition all FPS games have about the same amount of content.
