We have done horrible stuff, and our people aren't the brightest (or healthiest), but I live comfortably every day of my life. We have done some good in the world, and there are genuinely good people living here. There are countries that can't say the same. We could def change some things for the better, but I love it here......as long as I don't watch the news. ;)

5 RepliesQuick note on Hiroshima, many don't know that the bombing was our second plan, the first was an invasion of Japan, which was estimated to cause between 3-5 allied casualties and 8-10 Japanese(numbers in millions), whereas the bombs killed 652 thousand, the bombs [i]saved[/i] lives, the alternative was going to be d day, except 50 times worse

Also piggybacks off the success of other nations I.e WWI and WWII they only joined at the last minute so they could TRY and get some glory.
