Goku alone, no dragon. That's all it says. Even if he had the dragon, they've tried the wishing people from existence thing, never works out. And I'm betting atheon has several versions of himself from different timelines, the dragon has admitted that there are things he can't do and i m betting that's one. It's like trying to destroy a paradox.

Well atheon can take damage b4 the 1st teleport so I'm pretty sure goku could one shot him b4 the 1st teleport.

I know there are time restraint for things that happen in game but you still have to account for if atheon decides to change it up. Gokus stuff is all improv cause he's never been there, we don't know how atheon would react. He might teleport him faster, slower, or not at all. He does stand a chance to kill him outright but there aren't many times goku immediately charges in headlong at full power. He usually tries to talk to the enemy first or measure how strong he thinks they are. Those few seconds he kills trying to make contact by talking and dodging shots is enough for atheons timer to drop for him to be teleported. He kicked friezas goons asses left and right but he stopped to talk to the big man before the showdown. No matter what powerlevel he's at he always chats it up a bit. And as cocky as he can get I'm betting he might talk shit about how slow he is or shoots while dodgeing and get himself teleported.

Atheon attacks as soon as he spawns goku would attack back and go for the kill maybe I'm not him.

Think about Goku vs Broly. Broly went straight for the kill. Goku went on the defense and tried to talk to him.

Because broly was a saiyan one of his own and looked like he could be reasoned with. Ask yourself if a giant robot pops out a gate and instantly tries to shoot you are you gonna talk to it.

He tried to talk to buu, cell, the androids, frieza, etc... The list goes on. Plus think of all the robots he fought in the GT series. Some could talk others couldn't.

Yeah but none of them attacked 1st they all spoke back to him cell spike frieze spoke buu spoke the androids spoke they all had conversations b4 the fight atheon doesn't speak therefore goku has nothing to talk about.

Buu screamed his own name (same with janemba before and after he transformed) and blew shit up, cell was already on a killing spree, same with frieza and the robots were already on the attack. For all the ones attacking he didn't know any prior knowledge of he dodged and tried to talk whether they spoke back or not.

He's gonna wait more than 2 shots to issue the stop shooting or I'll kill you speech. He'll get flustered for words trying to explain his situation and eventually say screw it but by then he will have been teleported.

Well honestly Idk it depends on him o guess I don't have any solid facts that sais goku would or wouldnt kill atheon b4 he gets teleported I know if it was vegeta yeah but goku not sure so I'm gonna leave it at that.
