The Monarchy Officials enter the nearly finished palace. As the nine of them argue over each other, the colossal beast of stone reaches out onto the balcony, and the woman in white emerges, stepping off each finger as if it were a staircase.
"Milady, it's good to see you once again. But soothing words can only elevate us so high: I've discovered our violet lady has been murdered, but we possess the means to bring her back."
The woman takes a seat in her throne.
"I have little ways to express my distaste for your failure, but her death was of her own doing. You are commended, Sir Savona, for your actions taken to solidify our new kingdom. Bring us this inheritor of which you speak."
"Yes milady."
Serena.
Dante stands over you, waiting for you to wake up.

Prove it.
-
You can't make me! He runs off in the opposite direction, only to spill a navy blue-haired girl's drink, and pass out from inebriation. Dante chuckles to himself.
-
She laughs hard as he falls out See Dante told you it would be fun!
-
He looks at you with a decent grin. Then, his face turns to one of Suprise as he averts his eyes. Remember the rules, Serena.
-
What rules? Nobody ever tells me stuff...
-
A perky voice pierces the air behind you. Why, hello there! You must be Serena; Dante's told the lot of us about you. To have fought by June's side, hah! She nudges you with her elbow. That's lucky, like stupid lucky!
-
She turns, already liking the attitude of whoever it is, an grabs a nearby mug A little, yes. Who are you?
-
A wide smile and curly brown hair greet you. her eyes are brown and bold. Name's Hecate, I'm in the Guard's top shelf! She leans in to whisper. A remarkable assassin, handy with whatever tool you can provide... She straightens her body out and puts her hand on her hips. But enough about me, introduce me to the woman I'm looking at!
-
Pleasure to meet you, my name's Serena. I'm sure someone's gossiped about the resurrection thing, everyone else already seems to know about me. I was the one with the crystal thing inside of me or something. She looks down at her mug, noticing it's empty, then looks around casually for something to fill it.
-
Ha, yeah, you can thank cold and dour for spreading the word. She points to Dante before taking a swig of her drink. Dante is looking off into another direction of the party. Ahh! He never knows how to loosen up! Not that that's a bad thing, but he can be so humdrum, Ya know? She smiles at you with a warm curiosity. You seem to get it...
-
She looks back after glancing at Dante Yeah, you seem like a good bunch. You yourself seem so cheery, it's rubbing off on me I think. A lot more lax then I thought, I'm glad. She leans against a table, one hand holding her mug and the other holding the edge of the tabletop So I know Dante, you, Merihem was it? Who else haven't I met?
-
Well, She puts an arm around your neck, pointing to various people with the other. That big bloke over by the Princess, that's Arthur Clarke. He may not seem the type, but he's an excellent advisor and deals with any and all Intel received by spies and assassins. She turns to the Cudgel-wielding man. That is Siris Burke. Not much of a talker, but he's on the Guard too. There's no way to gauge him, truth be told: he's either angry or mild. No such thing as good standing with him, I'm afraid. She moves to another: the girl who Merihem ran into before passing out. Luciana is our resident scientist and field medic. She more of the strong silent type, and values work a bit more than relations. I'm actually suprised she's here. Those are the main officials you should know about. They're all unique in their own way, as I'm sure you can tell. They aren't as old fashioned as the rest of us though... Her arm slides down to your waist.
-
Edited by Kinda Red: 7/2/2015 5:02:09 PMI guess so, yeah. Why are you surprised Luciana is here? She seems enough like the rest to me, strong silent type doesn't seem so bad when you have angry or mild over there. She doesn't react to the movement, probably ignoring it instead of making it awkward
-
She never comes to any other special occasions... I think she wanted over you, but she can see you're already taken. She squeezes you around the waist lightly, trying to elicit a laugh. She then drops her arm from your waist. All in good fun Serena! But alas, I must be going. Perhaps I'll catch you around later, hmm? Farewell! She merrily trots off.
-
She laughs a little, not a lot, but a little I guess so. Farewell Hecate. She pushes off of the table and goes looking for something to fill her drink, or maybe steal someone else's. She ambles around near Dante, him being in her path anyway.
-
Dante looks up at you. You broke the third rule. He takes your glass and replaced it with his own.
-
What? Don't look Knife girl in the eye? Doesn't at all seem the type to go ape when you do that. Plus your rules suck, like most rules. She swaps mugs again, giving his back to him I'm not going to steal your drink when you aren't even drunk for it to be funny, with you stumbling to get it back.
-
He stands up slowly, rubbing his gloved hand over the ridge of your mug. A pinkish liquid is visible on the portion of his finger. My actions have reason. I don't need you hitting the ground like Merihem did. He wipes the residue off his glove into his shoulder. Still wanna chance drinking from the mug?
-
She looks for something to fill it once more, then grabs a full one nearby and pours it in. She turns back to Dante with the air of taking a dare. Sure, why not?
-
He almost jumps. What am I going to tell winston if I can't get you out of here? Hecate... She's... I'm sure you can guess at what she might do. He shudders slightly.
-
She laughs slightly I'll be fine, you're so serious, lighten up! Get drunk like everyone else. She goes to chug the drink with a rebellious grin, putting it up to meet her lip
-
Dante retains a hint of what could be called a look of worry. If you can remember anything, just remember that this was your fault.
-
She downs the drink, then looks back at you with a look of sureness See? Still standing!
Inb4Not Lel
-
Dante shakes his head, muttering words that you can see on his lips, but can't hear. The colors in the throne room begin to become vibrantly distinct, almost invasive to your eyes. You lip-read Dante's mouth. "I warned you."
-
You lose feeling of your legs and collapse to the ground. Pale-white hands reach under your arms and pick you back up, and pull you backwards. Dante grabs your numb legs, and the two carry you out the massive doors before you black out.
