When does Crucible become fun?
I've gotten a lot less angry with Crucible after I've accepted that there is no victory in it, only defeat, and that I'm not good at it, but it still hasn't become fun for me.
I can see that the meta is Hand Cannons and Shotguns on Hunters and Warlocks, but otherwise it just seems like throwing myself into the game as cannon fodder for others without an ounce of enjoyment.
So, when do other people start having fun in the Crucible? Is it a specific mode? I admit I'm a solo player and don't have groups to play with, so maybe that's it?

It gets better when you get better. I can usually use whatever gun I want and go positive at least.

And Titans have shoulder charge. While its not blink it's just another ability for the Titans' repertoire to creatively get kills. Just as hunters have invisibility. Anyway as of now, handcannons is the game's meta. Pulse and scouts feel about right- except the high RoF scout rifles as they need a buff. ARs need a buff. And exotic handcannons just need to reflect their range better. Legendary handcannons to have hit boxes as big as thorn and the other exotic handcannons, thorn's mod to change and TLW to change by range as well rather than hitting precision hip fire shots across the map with TLW...

I have found crucible always fun but I often look at the enemy team and pick one out and that is my target for the round if I see him I will do what ever it takes to kill him/ her

Use a pulse rifle like red death or the messenger. With all the tryhards playing IB modes such as regular control or clash are absolute killing fields. Know the maps, use your supers at the right moments, and practice!!!

Crucible becomes fun when you do start running with friends. Seriously look for a group to join in recruitment. The alternative is it becomes fun when you stop playing it.

It's fun when you burn through the enemy team no matter how hard they try.

I love it with others or solo. Partially because I'm somewhat decent at it and it's fun to have good games and bad games.

I for one am happy to play the cannon fodder for others.. After all , if it wasn't for us, then who would the better players have to shoot? The one thing that help me have some fun with Crucible is getting together with friends who really don't care if I happen to be really bad at PvP. We play to have fun and that's what matters to me. Join up with some people - whether it's a clan or people from a LFG site that want to have fun will go a long way. Best of luck.

Winning 66 straight trials games is fun! For real though when playing becomes second nature and you can play well regardless of your team it is fun

The crucible is only fun once you turn into a shotgun blinker with thorn, TLW, Red Death, or something like that.
