He will not consider Atheon to be a big bad guy. Atheon is more like Raditz's level. He will finish off Atheon like a bug and look for a stronger opponent and realizes that there is none.

Im not saying he is extra strong, just the matter that he fought a shit ton of small people and suddenly a big guy, complete with intro music and everything shows up, goku is going to assume he's in charge. So he's gonna try to talk to him and figure out the motive and what is actually going on. He does this all the time. Think of all the filler there is in DBZ, movies included of him talking or trying to talk to the enemy before they fight. Whether they understand him or not he still tries. If he's lower level he goes defense and tries to talk, if he's powered up he talks shit and dodges. And that dodge time is enough for atheon to teleport him.

Well, that's how the writers wrote the script. But in a crossover like this, I don't think Goku will talk. He will just go for the kill and try to get back to his Dragonball universe. If there is one person who can easily solo the entire Destiny Universe then it will be adult Franklin Richards. He will just think of erasing the entire Destiny universe and get done with it.

So he would make no attempt to talk to the locals to figure out how to get back, let alone the bosses to see what info he can get from them if any at all and you're saying he would ditch his core personality. Fat chance. Only way I'd buy that is if he was a kid and somehow stayed ape the whole time he was in the destiny universe which still wouldn't be an insta-win.

He will for sure. Knowing Goku, he will even help the Guardians in their fight and save the day for the Traveller. Once the Guardians realizes how powerful he is. they will team up with him and defeat the Darkness. The Traveller will be restored and help Goku get back to his own universe. Goku is good hearted. He will see this Earth as in danger and help turn things around. There is really no reason for the Darkness and Light to team up and try to kill Goku.

Given the wording its simply goku vs all. I don't doubt for a second d that if he were to team up with the gaurdians it would be a cake walk, but all vs 1 with no information and an insanely high chance of encountering the darkness or fighters for the darkness other than a guardian are severely higher based on numbers alone.

Story wise, Goku just got a major upgrade this year. He is now way beyond what he was during the DBZ saga. He is now even way more powerful than GT's SSJ4 Gogeta which is non canon, btw. He is now a Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan. His base power is now Super Saiyan God and so far, he was shown to reach SSGSS level 1 (blue hair). He can keep teleporting between planets and destroy each and everyone in the Destiny universe one by one in an all out fight.

I saw the movie, I know its not cannon. But he ain't bending time. He has habits that he always follows. Just like James Bonds villains always explain the plan before they kill, goku has a routine for dealing with enemies, known and unknown.
