Destroying planets doesn't matter, you still need a sword to even hurt Crota, and Crota can one shot you.

You know Goku does need to break down doors just to get through right? He has this thing called instant transmission where he can teleport any where in the galaxy. Also he is a sayain God. The most powerful being to have existed.

Naw bro, if you watched DBZ and any of the movies, you would know what he is capable of. There is no limit to his power. Also you can open the door by yourself and all you have to do is stand next to it. Not that hard.

How about the fact that Goku can destroy nay planet he wants just by a single thought. All he has to do is point his finger and BOOM! No more planet. Goku would destroy the time conflux and make Atheon his bitch. Even krillin can destroy Atheon.

Atheon can lock people into different dimesnions/timelines. In another universe guardians don't exist at all the vex rule everything if you put thought into it. Goku also has a very hero's set of morals so he wouldn't have the conscious to be able to destroy a planet and walk away or fly with no problem gaurdians, vex, cabal, fallen, and hive are all soldiers some programmed to kill others bred to kill. The tone between characters and lore is to different to put up a real argument. We don't even know the extent of oryx's power yet if he's the father of crota it's only assumed that he holds immense amounts of power and is capable of destroying solar systems where as crota can take planets and moons over with ease. Goku also can be fatigued and get tired, where as an endless number of hive or vex don't feel fear or get tired so it's what ever way you want it to end to be honest. I'm also uninformed of the whole god mode thing but I've read from other users he needs other saiyans to achieve it and a the on can lock them all in different dimensions so that leaves normal saiyan goku alone to fight a universe that hasn't even been fully realized by the creators. dragon Ball z is to established to compete with destiny because destiny isn't even a year old yet and the universe is still growing.

You seriously do not watch DBZ do you. If you did you would understand what Goku is CAPABLE of. If he wants to destroy Atheon and the vault all he has to do is give the Big Bang Kamehameha wave x100 and everything would be go e fast than you can say teleport. Goku might not want to destroy a planet because he is a hero but what makes you think that he is not powerful enough go do it? All he has to do is flick his wrist and the planet would be gone. Also there is nothing in Destiny that can move faster than the speed of light and that is just about everyone in show. Everyone in that show can move at the speed of light. Heck even Krillan can destroy Atheon and his army and he is human. Trust me, there is no beating Goku and if you knew anything about him is he loves to fight and always wants a challenge. Why do you think he fought Beerus the Destroyer? Also you neglect the fact that if somehow Goku does die, his friends would bring him back with the Dragonballs and if you watched the show you would know he comes back 2 as strong as before every single time. There is no limit to Gokus power.
