People don't understand Gokus power. He is sayain God and can destroy a planet just by thinking about it. Just flick the wrist and BOOM! Bye bye everything.

Based on the fact that we don't even know what's in the entire destiny universe "goku's" abilities could be nothing

Gokus power is infinite. There is no limit to what he can do. If you watched the show and movies then you would know this.

We dont know The Travelers limits. Or how many other "Travelers" there are. How many gods, etc. We havent even seen the actual "darkness" yet. Which we obviously "Wont survive it this time."

Goku has NO limits. He can be as powerful as he wants to be when he wants to be or needs to be.
