Let me go ahead and state that I have never seen Goku, nor do I have any clue about him... However, didn't it take him 3-4 episodes to level up? Seems like I overheard someone say that once.

No. The show is only like 15-20 minutes long per episode. they build up to it. A brief summary. Nothing can stop Goku. He has died so many times and comes back twice as power. It got to the point where he became a God. Goku is THE most powerful being to have existed and his power is infinite and he can travel faster than the speed of light(funny because guardians depend on light let Goku can travel faster than it) and he can instant transmission(teleport) any where in the entire galaxy and all other galaxy.
